I am Caroline. I am Diné. As an Arizona native, born and raised on the Navajo Nation in Tuba City, Arizona I decided very early in my life that giving back to my community and Indigenous people across the country is something I needed and wanted not only in my career, but generally in life. I have been working in the public health field for over 10 years, with experience ranging across various areas of health and social services, research and evaluation, housing, behavioral health, education and more.

About Me
We never stop learning and I am on an ever continuing journey to do just that.
I got my first evaluation position with an Urban Indian Health Center in Arizona in 2014 where I served as the project evaluator for a SAMHSA funded Circles of Care project. From then on I was hooked on the field of research and evaluation of public health projects in Native American communities.

I have since grown my expertise in the area of Indigenous Research Methods. Alongside providing my experience and knowledge developing and implementing evaluation plans and activities, I apply an "advocate lens" to everything I do, coming from a place of decolonizing how we look at and conduct research and evaluation, particularly with Native people and communities.
